C. Spence-Samuels was born in the beautiful island of Jamaica, and as a child had a passion for writing stories for her school and magazines. However, she didn’t pursue her writing dream but instead studied Secretarial Science and Business Law at EXED Community College and got the C.P.S. status at the Island’s famous University of Technology, Arts and Science (f.k.a. as College of Arts, Science and Technology).

Now a United States Citizen, she pulled out that long hidden, but not forgotten talent.

Her passion for the preservation of the family and couples sticking together despite the storms they encountered reared its head in her writing of the Novel 'PIRATED'.
